As workers adopt Smartphones and tablets as a preferred method of communication, medical professionals, employers, insurers and brokers are increasingly using mHealth to influence healthy outcomes.
However, with over 40,000+ medical and health apps on the market, how do you select those that will will work for you?
Mobile Health Marketplace provides a directory of mobile applications which can help to improve employer health, wellness, safety and workers’ compensation programs.
We start out by sifting through best seller lists, industry journals, press releases and other sources to identify mobile apps which will contribute to a safer, healthier workforce. These applications range from proven, popular best sellers to promising new offerings. Also, we include both stand-alone apps and those which interface with software platforms, services and medical devices. For more on these criteria, see How we Select Apps.
For each app we summarize important publicly available information in a consistent format which makes it easy for you to compare and select solutions that will work for your organization.
The process for selecting mobile health apps for our App Directory is based on our independent analysis and judgement. To maintain our independence, we do not accept advertising from app developers.
Also, while we welcome suggestions from developers about what we list and what we say in our listings, we make the final decision about the content at our site.

Our plan is to add more listings based on input from our audience and new developments in the market. Please contact us with comments, suggestions and questions, and keep up to date by signing up for the Tech Talk Blog.
